Is Quantity More Important?
According to Gary Vaynerchuck, "Quality is Subjective."
As we all know, no person is alike. Everyone is unique! No matter how beautiful you are or your work is, there's always someone who will not like it. Let's face it! If we see something we really admire and appreciate, there's always a room for others to criticized what you think it was great. There is no such thing as perfection.
So, I realized, doing more frequent in what you want to do, helps a lot as well. Yes, I also agree that quality is important. But it doesn't mean by doing things what you want or what you love to do will disregard the quality. The more you do things, and the more your body move will be used to do it, the higher possible you will have the quality you are looking for.
The more you produce things, the more people will be able to see what you have done, and the more will be able to appreciate it, even though somebody still will not. The important thing is, the more you do it, the more products you will produce, and the more people will notice it.
As the author, you will be able to identify and learn the quality of your work as you keep on doing it. Just have it balance. The quantity of your work will not disregard the quality it will produce. Because, "Excellence comes when we balance quality with quantity," according to Amit Ray.
Many successful people usually focus on quantity, and not quality. Because, the more they work, the better work they will get. They used to improve the quality of their work by making it in a great quantity of things.
Sometimes we spend too much time thinking of something that should be perfect. But the problem is, there's no such thing as perfect! But there's always room for improvement every time. That's why many of us get stuck into something we didn't started because we are preoccupy by making something to be perfect.
As for me, doing what you love to do is great. It would be a good avenue to start and do it frequently as it is your passion. The quantity of your work shows the energy you spend into it. No matter what! They will recognize or not. As long as you do you best into your work.
I've read Herbert Lui that, quantity helps us loosen up, which i believed it takes away pressure, giving us energy to do it on and on, and encourages us to keep doing it more until we can say to ourselves, we got it! The higher quantity you will do, the higher quality you will get!
Don't forget! Quantity helps!
